DETECTIVES in Great Yarmouth are urging householders to remain vigilant following two burglaries in the same street in the space of a few days.

The first theft in Exmouth Road took place between 1.45pm and 5.40pm on Tuesday, November 9. Entry was gained by forcing a bathroom window and untidy search made of the lounge.

Items stolen include a black PSP, two mobile phones, a small quantity of cash and two ornamental Samurai swords with yellow snake skin decoration.

The second theft happened between 3pm on Friday, November 12, and 6.30am the following morning.

Entry was gained through an open kitchen window. A car keys to a a green Fiat Mereva, registration V71 FPC were stolen and the car driven off from outside the house. Other items stolen included a handbag, laptop computer.
