A fundraising couple have already signed up to compete in next year’s London Marathon, after successfully completing the famous race two weeks ago.

Stuart Driver, 33, from Great Yarmouth, and Lisa Scales, 32, from Gorleston have raised more than £2,000 for charity through their marathon effort, and are keen to repeat their success in 2015.

The pair raised money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, as both have lost loved ones to the disease, and Crohn’s and Colitis UK, which supports sufferers of both conditions.

Stuart, an offshore electrician, said they were both thrilled to have completed the course round the capital and are now keeping their fingers crossed for next year. “It was a brilliant atmosphere the whole day, I can only describe it as one big street party,” he added.
