THE trial of two men and a woman accused of murdering 17-year-old Yarmouth student Simon Everitt was yesterday fixed for April 27 at Norwich Crown Court.
Jonathan Clarke, 19, of Telford, Shropshire, and Jimi-Lee Stewart, 24, of Nelson Road Central, Yarmouth, have both denied the murder between June 6 and June 28. Maria Chandler, of Lancaster Road, Yarmouth, has yet to enter a plea.
Mr Everitt, who lived in a seafront bedsit, disappeared on June 7 and his body was found on June 28 on farmland at Mautby, near Yarmouth.
A post mortem examination showed he had been tied to a tree, made to drink petrol and set on fire. His body was buried in a ditch.
