A 33-year-old man has been arrested after a car was stolen from a garage and later left by the side of the A149 in Catfield.
The Subaru was recovered by police at about 6.30am on Sunday, January 14.
A police spokesman said: “The car was found on the A149 New Road at Catfield. It had previously been stolen from a garage in Catfield.
“A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified and with excess alcohol.
“The man was released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
Katie Taylor said on social media that it was her father’s car that was stolen.
She said: “He is absolutely gutted. He cleaned and polished his car every single day. He even debated going to pick his car up while it was in the garage to give it a clean as he felt bad it was filthy. He’s the nicest person in the world.”
