A Great Yarmouth tourism business is set to continue its model success story with significant new investment over the winter.

The seafront Merrivale Model Village, which has more than tripled visitor numbers over the past five years, will be unveiling a range of new models, including a police headquarters, hotel, riding stables and village shops for its re-opening on March 27.

The attraction, which was taken over by its present owner, Peter Williamson, in 2004, has also invested in a new crazy golf course.
