Children and young people attending Sunbeams Great Yarmouth Lego Club were full of excitement following a donation from Sainsbury’s. Sharon Lawson, PR ambassador for Sainsbury’s in the town, provided Sunbeams with boxes of leftover stock from their recent Lego Create the World collectable trading card promotion.
The cards will be used as rewards and prizes for those attending the Sunbeams Lego sessions. There is also a planned ‘swaps’ day, during the school summer holidays.
Any leftover and unwanted Lego Create cards will be used to set club challenges, including opportunities to win Lego sets.
Jo Richardson, store manager at Sainsbury’s Great Yarmouth, said she was delighted to see the children’s happy smiling faces.
