A seaside caf's upmarket makeover is taking shape and drawing support from locals in Gorleston.
Jay Formosa's revamp of the caf has seen it stripped back to nothing but it is still weeks away from the final reveal. Dog walkers and seaside strollers passing the spot and monitoring its progress have signalled their approval Mr Formosa said, adding that he had had “fantastic feedback.”
An outside trailer is offering refreshments at the weekend and people are welcome to take a look at the new more upmarket caf which he hopes will be the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and relax with the papers.
“The scaffolding will come down on Saturday but there is still quite a bit to do. It has been ripped back to nothing with new floors and air conditioning to make it a more upmarket caf. People are really pleased it's going on.”
