Surge in bogus callers

A SURGE in bogus callers has been reported by homeowners in the Great Yarmouth area in the last two weeks.

Among the incidents reported were a bogus Virgin Media caller in Bradwell and two incidents in Yarmouth- someone asking about milk deliveries and two men offering wall insulation services.

Among the incidents reported were a bogus Virgin Media caller in Bradwell and two incidents in Yarmouth- someone asking about milk deliveries and two men offering wall insulation services.

In addition, scrap metal thefts have been reported in Yarmouth over the last 10 days.

Operation Radar was set up to tackle these crimes and police officers have repeated warnings for householders and business owners to be vigilant and extra careful about security.
