Tom has served as churchwarden for a total of 21 years, most notably for a period of 15 years from 1995 until he stepped down from office two weeks ago. His fellow churchwarden, Mrs June Baker presented him with a cheque together with a bouquet for Mrs Hatchett as a mark of appreciation from the parish for all the work he had done.
