A man caught driving dangerously and while disqualified has been given a suspended sentence.
Dean Adams, 27, of Suffield Road, Gorleston, was chased by police in the Yarmouth area when he was spotted breaking his ban on November 13 last year.
Norwich Crown Court heard how he had weaved through traffic, skipped a give way sign and crossed a central reservation while he was being chased by police.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced yesterday. He was given 40 weeks imprisonment suspended for two years.
He was also ordered to do 240 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for a year and given a curfew. Under the curfew, he must stay indoors between 7pm and 7am.
