A sweet shop is preparing for Father Christmas to visit.
Katie Gray from Sweetpeas sweet shop in the appropriately named St Nicholas Drive, in Caister is setting up a Santa’s Grotto.
She is hoping to raise £1,000 for the James Paget Hospital’s childrens’ ward by setting up a grotto in the shop.
She said: “After all Christmas is all about children and seeing them happy.”
Santa will be visiting the grotto this Sunday (December 3) and Saturday, December 16 from 10am to 4.30pm.
MORE: Shop goes sweet on childhood memoriesThe little ones will be able to let Father Christmas know what is on their Christmas list and they will receive a gift to take home and some special ‘reindeer food’ for Rudolph and his friends.
The price per child is £4 with half of the profit going to the childrens’ ward.
