A trio of garden rooms has sprung up in the grounds of a village gastro pub - and they are proving a huge hit with food lovers.
Thought to be the first of their kind in a restaurant location in Norfolk, the cedar pods are a challenge to the standard pub B&B, the idea of a self contained unit in the countryside with a hot tub next to a flint-flecked church drawing brisk booking.
The garden rooms add to the offer at The Kings Arms, Fleggburgh, where award-winning chef Mark Dixon has plumped for high end, individually-designed rooms that are “completely unique.”
Costing around £150,000, including landscaping, an opening offer of £89 has seen people from Acle to the Orkney Islands reserve their stay, with weekends already pretty much booked until June.
Each having their own boiler and being properly plumbed in means there will be no dip in electricity supply as guests switch on the TV or the hairdryer just as the kitchen is in full swing.

Mr Dixon, 34, who has been at the Kings Arms for almost five years, renting for the first three years but now as owner, said he had been stunned by the popularity of the new rooms and general level of interest.
When they launched the rooms “went crazy” with some 80 rooms selling on the first day, he said.
One status, he said, had reached 1.3m people and he and his staff watched in wonder as inquiries came first from the local area, then further afield within East Anglia before spreading far and wide to Scotland where there seemed to be a growing pool of interest.
“It is interesting just to watch ,” he said.
“Our phones did not stop for 24 hours. Over the years we have had a lot of people come in and ask about rooms so it seemed to be the right thing.”
The rooms Bee, Fox, and Owl are furnished to reflect their names with colours and fabrics chiming with the theme.
The rooms have created four new jobs bringing the total staff to 24.
