TAX workers in Great Yarmouth have been dealt a bitter today after it was announced the local office will close next year. More than 140 jobs at HM Revenue and Customs, based at Haven Bridge House, will be transferred to the Norwich office in April next year, although it is not known how many workers will opt for a transfer.
TAX workers in Great Yarmouth have been dealt a bitter today after it was announced the local office will close next year.
More than 140 jobs at HM Revenue and Customs, based at Haven Bridge House, will be transferred to the Norwich office in April next year, although it is not known how many workers will opt for a transfer.
The move is part of plans to restructure HM Revenue and Customs across the county by 2011.
