Teen assaulted in Great Yarmouth over phone

A TEENAGER was assaulted on Great Yarmouth after refusing to hand over his phone to two men.

Police in Great Yarmouth are appealing for information following the attack in Regent Road on Thursday, April 21 between 10pm and 11pm.

The 18-year-old man was walking towards the seafront when he was approached for his phone, and upon refusing was threatened before both men attempted to rob him. The teenager was then pushed into the alleyway close to Regent Bowl where was punched in the head before suspects fled the scene towards the seafront.

One of the suspects is described as 6ft, slim to medium build, with a tanned complexion. He was wearing a black scarf, gloves, grey baseball cap, black tracksuit bottoms which had white stripes and white trainers. The second suspect is described as 5ft 10, of large build and was wearing dark clothing.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
