A teenager charged with stealing a moped and assaulting an officer in Great Yarmouth has been arrested again after breaching his bail conditions.

Earlier this month, the 16-year-old male was charged with the theft of a moped and assaulting an officer, who he reportedly attempted to head-butt.

As part of his bail conditions he was prohibited from associating with certain people, but was caught with them yesterday and arrested.

He is due to appear in juvenile court later this month.

On Monday, a 22-year-old man was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison after spitting at two police officers in Marine Parade on Sunday.
