A 19-year-old who punched another man in the face after an argument in Great Yarmouth's Long Bar was ordered yesterday to pay 60 compensation to his victim.
Robert Seingier, of Norman Lane, Yarmouth, assaulted Adrian Warne in the seafront bar on December 14 following a dispute.
Mr Warne suffered a split lip during the attack.
Seingier, who works as barman in the Trafalgar Tavern and had no previous convictions, was totally ashamed of his actions and realised he had acted foolishly, his solicitor Rob Barley told Yarmouth magistrates.
As well as paying 60 compensation to Mr Warne, Seingier was made to pay 30 towards the prosecution costs after he admitted assault.
