A TEENAGER who admitted stealing from a car in Hopton has been sentenced to a 12 month community order. Kelvin Bues, 19, of Nuffield Close, Gorleston, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on, July 18, where he pleaded guilty to theft.
A TEENAGER who admitted stealing from a car in Hopton has been sentenced to a 12 month community order.
Kelvin Bues, 19, of Nuffield Close, Gorleston, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on, July 18, where he pleaded guilty to theft.
The charge related to an incident on Turin Way on April 27 when a Ford Mondeo was broken into.
Several items were stolen including an in-car DVD player, school bag, a purse containing �20 in cash and CDs.
Neighbours were disturbed by the break-in and called police who arrived to find Bues near to where the incident happened holding a carrier bag containing the stolen property.
Bues was also ordered to pay �200 in costs.
