THREE men were arrested on suspicion of theft yesterday after a 51-year-old woman had her handbag snatched.
The incident happened on Stanley Road in Great Yarmouth at about 4.30pm when a man snatched her handbag and ran off towards Northgate Street.
The victim called police and about an hour later officers from the Caister and Rural Flegg Safer Neighbourhood Team stopped a vehicle at Ormesby Road, Caister, and arrested three males aged 18, 16 and 13 on suspicion of theft.
The three youths were taken to Yarmouth police station where they were interviewed and released on bail pending further enquiries into similar incidents reported in July.
