A SELF employed plasterer was banned from driving on Friday after he admitted drinking driving on Marine Parade in Great Yarmouth.

Lee Missen, 23, was stopped by police on the evening of November 3 after police noticed him driving on the wrong side of the road and swerving sharply to avoid traffic cones.

Yarmouth magistrates court banned Missen, of Cambridge, for three years and fined him £100 after they heard it was his second conviction for drink driving.

Missen was also given a day's detention in the court's cells after he pleaded guilty to failing to attend an earlier hearing.
