Visitors will be able to re-create the dishes in their own kitchens as complete recipes and photos are included in the Maritime Festival events programme on sale for £1.

Festival visitors will be able to go aboard the Brigantine Mercedes, a square-rigged Dutch tall ship which will be moored in port before leaving for cruises at 7pm each evening. Tickets are still available for cruises at 7pm on the Thursday, Friday and Sunday (September 4 to 7).

The entertainment programme this years features a new acoustic performance area, The Fo'c'stle, where the Jolly Rogers, from Yarmouth's Centre 81, will be singing sea shanties along with many other more familiar faces from Sheringham Shantymen to Monkey's Orphan and Four 'n' Aft.
