John Barker, chairman of Great Yarmouth Bridge Club, is pictured presenting Maureen Kimberley and Bogden Drobney with the Great Yarmouth Bridge Trophy.
The club hosted the Great Yarmouth Trophy for the first time on Sunday with the event attracting 40 top players from Norfolk. It was held at the Masonic Rooms and sponsored by First For Bridge Holidays. A draw was held for those who attended for a £100 holiday voucher, won by David Robinson from Norwich.
The winners of the event were Maureen Kimberley and Bogden Drobney (current Norfolk Bridge captain) and runners up Peter and Brenda Howlett.
It is expected the event will be held again next year – and possibly take place over the whole weekend.
