LOCAL gym clubs and nurseries will be checking in at Caister Holiday Park this month - to watch two of Britain's top youth gymnasts in action.
British number one rhythmic gymnast Francesca Jones and junior champion Keziah Gore will be at the Haven holiday park on Wednesday, April 21, to give demonstrations during a special break aimed at encouraging youngsters to get active.
The break is part of a new initiative by Haven, which has four holiday parks in the Great Yarmouth region, to give away free sports equipment to nurseries and playgroups in England, Scotland and Wales.
The Fun and Fitness scheme is run via a website www.havenfunfitness.com but parents of children at nurseries or playgroups which have registered to take part have only a few days left to show their support by also clicking on the website so their child's pre-school group can receive up to 250 of free equipment.
The special break at Caister includes a wide range of fun activities for little ones including Wake and Shake exercise sessions, a Sporty Rory Sports Day, Water Confidence session plus a Letterland Treasure Hunt.
Highlight will be two demonstrations by the champion gymnasts in front of holidaymakers and a number of local gym clubs and pre-school groups who have been especially invited along for the event.
