A tractor driver is reportedly helping vehicles stuck in snow on a rural road between Martham and Clippesby.

Cathy Jones, a district nurse, said she only just negotiated the B1152 in her four wheel drive and that the road looked to be closed in both directions.

She said she saw one car being pulled out by a tractor and that there were others dotted along the stretch in the same predicament.

The road dips in several points and is prone to flooding.

But in the Arctic conditions drifting was also an issue.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said there was a similar issue at Martham Road, Rollesby, where a car was reportedly stuck in snow blocking the road.
