Traffic warden attacked in Yarmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen an assault on a female traffic warden in Great Yarmouth at about 2.45pm on Wednesday.

The warden was in the process of issuing a ticket for a blue Honda vehicle outside Capital Kebab House in King Street when she was approached by a man who after a brief discussion is alleged to have assaulted her.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen an assault on a female traffic warden in Great Yarmouth at about 2.45pm on Wednesday.

The warden was in the process of issuing a ticket for a blue Honda vehicle outside Capital Kebab House in King Street when she was approached by a man who after a brief discussion is alleged to have assaulted her.

A 33-year-old man from the Yarmouth area has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
