TRAIN operators have reinstated a key service whose replacement by a bus was drawing concerns.

National Express East Anglia (NXEA) has announced that a full timetable will operate on the Norwich to Great Yarmouth train service from Monday, with the restoration of the 08.09 Norwich to Great Yarmouth and 08.47 Great Yarmouth to Norwich (Monday to Friday) services as part of the normal advertised timetable.

The two services have been operated by a replacement bus over recent weeks while one of the local train fleet underwent accident repairs.

A senior council official had written to the company expressing concerns about the “missing service” and the effect on commuters and employers.
