Trevor Edwards was invited to attend Prince Charles’s 70th birthday celebration garden party at Buckingham Palace on May 22 in recognition of his work within the borough of Great Yarmouth as a Business Connector for one of the Prince of Wales’s charities, Business in the Community.

Mr Edwards said: “I was honoured to be representing not only the charity, but also the Department of Work and Pensions who have supported my secondment role for two years, alongside both the businesses and the community of Great Yarmouth.

“While I did not get the opportunity to personally speak to them, I did get within a couple of feet of both Prince Charles and Camilla.

“I also saw Harry and Meghan in person a few days after the wedding and listened to Harry give a speech.”
