TV presenter Amanda Lamb is calling on the people of Great Yarmouth to take part in Cake Time 2009, a fun and simple fundraising campaign in aid of Shelter.
The “Place in the Sun” presenter has generously donated her very own gingerbread biscuits recipe for Cake Time - a special dedicated week from March 21-27.
She said: “Cake Time 2009 is a perfect opportunity to bake some delicious treats while raising much needed funds for Shelter's work with homeless and badly housed families.
“If you're stuck for ideas, the Shelter website lists some scrumptious, easy to follow cake recipes and some practical fundraising tips designed to help you get the most out of Cake Time.”
For more information, including the free Cake Time pack full of recipes, tips on organising an event and fundraising ideas phone 0844 5151190, e-mail events@shelter.org.uk or visit www.shelter.org.uk/caketime.
