Two injured in Gorleston crash

FIRE crews were called after two cars collided in Gorleston.

Firefighters from Great Yarmouth were called to Beccles Road, after a person became trapped in a car following the crash at 4.

FIRE crews were called after two cars collided in Gorleston.

Firefighters from Great Yarmouth were called to Beccles Road, after a person became trapped in a car following the crash at 4.32pm yesterday.

By 5.35pm the trapped person had been released using hydraulic rescue equipment. Crews also worked to make the vehicle and area safe.

The ambulance service was also called to the scene and took two casualties to James Paget hospital.
