A TEENAGER from Gorleston has been banned from an area in the town following his arrest for a racially motivated offence at a business address in Magdalen Way on January 12.
A TEENAGER from Gorleston has been banned from an area in the town following his arrest for a racially motivated offence at a business address in Magdalen Way on January 12.
Jason Howarth, 17, appeared at Great Yarmouth Youth Court on January 15, where he was fined and given a two year ASBO after an investigation by the Magdalen SNT and the Great Yarmouth Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
Leaflets relating to his ASBO have been produced and distributed in the area, and include a photograph, a map of the excluded area and a list of people with whom he must not associate. The leaflets have been delivered to the shops on Magdalen Way, the Magdalen Housing and Clip Office.
Howarth is prohibited from being in the borough with any of six named associated, entering a restricted area, part of the Magdalen Estate, contacting the owners or staff of a business premises in Gorleston.
