PUBLISHED: 16:22 12 January 2011

A DOZEN vehicles had their tyres slashed over night in Gorleston.

The damage took place in and around Mariners Compass and Links Road overnight on Friday and Saturday, with all four tyres of cars being targeted in some cases.

Sargeant Lou Provart said: “Incidents of this nature are rare in this area and we have increased high-visibility patrols to provide reassurance to local community.

I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed people acting suspiciously in the area on the nights in question to contact police.”
