Elves are needed to help man Santa’s Post Office in the Market Place in Great Yarmouth.
From early December the Town Centre Partnership will be opening the Magical Santa’s Post Office where the elves will
help children of all ages write their letter to Father Christmas using festive headed paper. The children will decorate their letter and post it in Santa’s Enchanted Post Box and watch its route to Lapland on a magic map!
Every letter sent will get a response from the big man himself.
Main Elf duties include welcoming children and their parents into Santa’s Post Office, helping children to pick a card out of the sorting hat, showing the children to the table where they will find stamps and crayons to create their letter and managing the “post office” counter sorting letters and data.
Required skills include excellent customer service skills and previous experience of working with children – as Santa would expect.
The elves will be paid £7.50 per hour, with the costume and full training provided.
