Wark joins Legends game

FORMER Ipswich midfielder John Wark will be back in action for the Blues as part of the Ipswich Legends side taking on the Canaries Legends at Great Yarmouth Football Club next month.

FORMER Ipswich midfielder John Wark will be back in action for the Blues as part of the Ipswich Legends side taking on the Canaries Legends at Great Yarmouth Football Club next month.

The Scottish midfielder with a record four player of the year awards, is already looking forward to the match at Wellesley Road on Sunday, April 18 with keen anticipation.

Fitness should not be a problem for the 52-year-old who has just returned from a tournament in Dubai with Liverpool Legends.

Other players lined up for the match include Dion Dublin, Darren Eadie and Bryan Gunn for Norwich, and former Town stars, Simon Milton, Matt Holland and Jason Dozzell. Ipswich Legends will be managed by Town hero Kevin Beattie and City by Milk Cup winning manager Ken Brown.
