A boy from Ormesby will walk out onto the hallowed turf of Wembley Stadium as one of the matchday mascots for Saturday's FA Cup Final.
Luke Wacey, 7, will walk onto the pitch with one of Crystal Palace's players for the season-ending showpiece between Palace and Manchester United.
Football mad Luke, who is a Norwich City fan and plays for his local team in Ormesby, was lucky enough to win a competition to be a matchday mascot his dad entered him in at the Game and Country Fair at the Norfolk Showground last month.
Scott Wacey, Luke's dad said: 'Luke is massively into football as are many kids his age.
'We were massively surprised when we were contacted by the Football Association as we entered the competition but were not exactly sure what the prize was.
'It was a nice surprise and Luke's face when he found out was priceless.'
Ahead of the match he will be given a guided tour of the stadium and will do a rehearsal of his duties as a matchday mascot.
Just before the match kicks off, he will walk onto the pitch in front of 90,000 fans and millions of people watching the match on the television at home.
And despite the fact he will be donned out in the colours of Crystal Palace rather than his beloved Norwich, it hasn't hampered his enthusiasm for the weekend.
Mr Wacey said: 'We went to see Norwich play Crystal Palace this season. So he knows about Crystal Palace and who they are, and I think he is just very excited to walk out onto the pitch ahead of such an important match, and then actually watch the match.'
