A LARGE yacht is being escorted through the county by police on Sunday, January 18.The vessel, measuring around 90 feet long and 18 feet wide, and weighing 76 tons is being transported from Tunstead Road, Hoveton at approximately 7.
A LARGE yacht is being escorted through the county by police on Sunday, January 18.
The vessel, measuring around 90 feet long and 18 feet wide, and weighing 76 tons is being transported from Tunstead Road, Hoveton at approximately 7.30am to the A11 Suffolk border at Barton Mills.
The route it will take will be from Tunstead Road to A1062 then along the A1151, A149, B1152, A1064, A47 to the A11 Suffolk border.
Road users are advised that the abnormal size of the load will make the journey very slow and members of the public are advised to find an alternative route if possible.
