Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with car at Waxham

A motorcyclist has serious injuries after colliding with a car in a Norfolk coastal village this morning.

Officers were called to Waxham at 11.12am to reports of the collision on Coast Road.

The rider of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken by the East of England Air Ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle before the incident should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Wymondham on 101.

Officers want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage of the incident.
