The Martham Scarecrow Festival will be on Sunday and Monday, May 6 and 7.
The organisers Julie and Steven, Peter and Liz have made the decision that this year will be their last.
They have raised money that has been used for many village projects. The good news is that a group of people have come together and will continue in 2019. The festival is only 16 weeks away so now is the time to start planning scarecrows.
If anyone is spring cleaning or just having a sort out of items in their home good quality clothes, books, games and bric-a-brac to sell in the marquee over the weekend would be welcomed. The organisers are happy to take them away at any time, leave at 60 Black Street, 19 Repps Road or call Julie and Steven on 01493 748547 or Liz and Peter on 01493 740242.
