The Santa sleigh organised by The Lions Club of Great Yarmouth is about to embark on its fundraising tour across the borough.
Every year people across the borough fill the Lions buckets with anything from pennies to pounds.
Spokesman Chris Stanley said: “We never forget every penny counts. You can be assured that everything we collect and more is given back to the community each year to both individuals and organisations who contact the club. So please when you see the sleigh and Santa’s Lion helpers give whatever you can, no matter how small as it all goes to a worthy cause somewhere.”
His next engagement is today (Monday) Bradwell south, 6.30-9pm, on Wednesday Bradwell north 6.30-9pm, on Thursday Shrublands and Mallard Way 6.30-9pm, December 6 Gorleston Avondale Road 6.30-9pm, December 7 High Street, Great Yarmouth Market Place and Asda 10-4pm, December 8 Santa Run, B&Q, Sainsbury 10-4pm, December 9 Cobholm and Southtown 6.30-9pm, December 10 Barrack Estate 6.30-9pm, December 11 Gorleston south 6.30-9pm, December 12 Newtown south 6.30-9pm, December 14 Tesco 10-4pm, December 15 Belton 4-6pm, December 16 Maygrove/Northgate 6.30-9pm, December 18 Magdalen East 6.30-9pm, December 19 Newtown North 6.30-9pm, December 20 Magdalen West 6.30-9pm, December 21 Tesco 10-4pm, December 22 Hopton including Beacon Park 4-7pm.
Meanwhile the Norfolk Broads Lions Club Santa has also finalised his itinerary.
His journey in the run-up to Christmas started on Sunday in Hemsby. On Wednesday he will cover the south end of the village from Church Farm from 6-8pm.
Fundraising for local good causes continues in Winterton on December 6, 6-8pm and Martham on December 8, 4-6pm covering the Marlborough Green area.
His odyssey then takes him to the Black Street area of Martham on December 11 6-8pm, Ormesby Appleton Drive area on December 13 6-8pm, Ormesby Ranworth Drive area December 15, 4-6pm, East Caister on December 17 6-8pm, Caister West Road area December 18 6-8pm, Caister Tessera Park area December 20 6-8pm and North Caister/Second Avenue December 22 4-6pm.
Families can also catch him and make a donation at Tesco Caister on December 14 and 21, all day.
Organisers say they will do their best to keep to the planned programme.
