The James Paget University Hospital has been shortlisted for an award for supporting students into nursing placements.
The Student Nursing Times Awards 2018 have shortlisted the Gorleston hospital in the Student Placement of the Year: Hospital category for its supporting students in placements: the foundations to success entry.
Sharon Crowle, head of the hospital’s education and practice development, will be heading to London in mid-March to give a presentation to the judging panel about the hospital’s existing work, plans and ethos in bringing students through training, supporting them into the workplace and offering career development.
She said: “This is the second year running that the James Paget has been shortlisted in these awards and we are delighted to have our efforts recognised at a national level.”
The winners will be announced at the London Hilton on April 26.
