All great things come to an end and so this month the curtain will come down on the WCB Comedy Club at St George’s Theatre in Great Yarmouth.

Since January 2014 this regular night of comedy has brought some of the best talent in the business to the town including Catherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, Arthur Smith, Joel Dommet and Hal Cruttenden.

So, as a final hurrah on November 17, WCB have announced they are bringing back the popular Hate ‘n’ Live show. The panel will sport two headline acts: Tanyalee Davis, star of Live of the Apollo, John Bishop Show and The Last Leg, and headliner of last September’s sell-out show at St George’s theatre alongside comedian, presenter and star of cult Channel 4 Show Balls of Steel Mark Dolan.

The panel also sees the return of the ever popular Leo Kearse (aka Punman) and compere for the evening is one of the most popular MCs and Talksport regular Justin Panks.

Radu Isac, who was the star performer of a new act night completes the line up at St George’s.

Meanwhile, the Hate n’ Live panel show continues to sell out across the country after conquering the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. The show is so popular because it brings out the best and sometimes the darkest sides of comics who are challenged to remark off the cuff about how they hate the subjects drawn out of hat regardless of whether it’s Marmite, Donald Trump or world peace.

Tickets are £12 each (or five for the price of four) and are available from www.wcbcomedy.com or by calling 01493 331484. Tickets are expected to sell out but you can win a pair by emailing competitions@wcbcomedy.com with your suggestion for the acts to ‘hate on’. The winners of the best suggestion judged by the Weird Coastal Buoys will see the comics ‘hating on’ on the night. By entering you agree to opt into the wcbcomedy emailing list.
