Great Yarmouth Racecourse is set to open its gates again on June 8 and 9 following a £300,000 project to level and improve the racing surface on the one mile straight.
And there’s a chance to win one of 10 Pairs of Premier Tickets for the opening meeting on June 8 or 9 in a super competition in this week’s Mercury (May 6).
But that’s not all!
Executive director Glenn Tubby said: “This year we have introduced for the first time a Free Residents Day on Friday, June 24, offering a pair of Grandstand and Paddock tickets for residents living in the NR29, NR30 and NR31 postcodes. This is a great opportunity for many to try racing for the first time, and with 6,000 free tickets available this should be a very good day.”
Tickets for the Residents Day have to be applied for in advance and online http://www.greatyarmouth-racecourse.co.uk/whats-on/fixture/friday-24-june-2016
