Further sand has eroded away from Winterton beach, exposing concrete blocks protecting the coast.
Last week, a significant amount of the beach was scoured away by the tide, creating a shelf with an estimated 10ft drop.
Now, further fears have been expressed after high tides took away even more sand on the beach, exposing concrete blocks supporting the cliff tops.
Eric Lund, chairman of Winterton Parish Council, said: “It does not look good for the beach at all at the moment.
“The entrance of the beach and the car park have both been closed off for the time being, but people have still been seen going down there and it really is quite dangerous.”
The village is now bracing itself for even higher tides expected this evening,
Mr Lund added: “My advice would be to avoid the cordoned off are and take notice of any safety warnings that are issued.”
