CHILDREN from Winterton Primary School are looking forward to competing in local sporting events in their brand new football kit, thanks to Winterton Parish Council, who generously responded to a request from headteacher Richard Endall for some assistance in buying the kit. The new red and black kit, chosen by the children through their school council, had its first airing at a small schools' festival of football in Norwich. “It is vitally important for the children to feel properly equipped now that the school is entering sporting events with other schools,” said Mr Endall. “We are all very grateful to the parish council for their generosity.”
