WINTERTON Primary School children, staff and governors bid a fond farewell to popular headteacher Trish Thompson last week. After 11 years at Winterton Primary, Trish is heading to Wroughton School in September.
WINTERTON Primary School children, staff and governors bid a fond farewell to popular headteacher Trish Thompson last week. After 11 years at Winterton Primary, Trish is heading to Wroughton School in September. The children performed a fitting final assembly with songs, poetry, gifts and handmade mementoes. In return, Mrs Thompson presented the school with garden benches and a parasol for the school courtyard. Chairman of the governors, John Downes, expressed thanks and appreciation for Trish's hard work and dedication to the school; and highlighted the significant impact she had made in her 11 years.
