Witnesses sought following collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 57-year-old man was involved in a collision with a blue Renault Clio on Yarmouth Way in Great Yarmouth.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 57-year-old man was involved in a collision with a blue Renault Clio on Yarmouth Way in Great Yarmouth.

The incident happened yesterday at about 1.45pm close to the junction of King Street. The pedestrian received serious head and leg injuries and was taken to the James Paget University Hospital. He was transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge last night where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that witnessed the nature of the driving of the Clio prior to the collision.
