Woman assaulted in Great Yarmouth

A WOMAN suffered bruising and a swollen eye after she was assaulted in Great Yarmouth last weekend.

The 22-year-old had been dropped off by taxi and was walking through Victoria Gardens when she was assaulted around 11.45pm on Saturday, May 26.

She was grabbed by a white man who punched her and pushed her against a wall. Nothing was stolen and she was not sexually assaulted.

She sustained bruising and swelling to her eye and grazing to her face and arm. Call police on 101
