Woman mugged in Caister street

A MUGGER stole a woman’s handbag in a Caister street and then ran off towards a nearby housing estate.

The victim, aged in her 40s, was walking along St Nicholas Drive towards a hair salon when she was approached by the mugger who snatched the handbag, containing £200 cash, keys and a mobile phone, from under her arm.

The incident happened between 3.45pm and 3.50pm on December 15.

Police would like to speak to someone wearing light coloured trousers and a light hooded top.
