A GREAT Yarmouth woman denied yesterday taking a friend's car without his permission and knocking him over as she drove away.
Sarah Donnachie is said to have taken the Mercedes from a friend in Northampton on March 8 and then hit him and knocked him over.
After the alleged incident it is claimed that Donnachie, 26, of the Cobholm caravan park, then drove to Norwich while she was banned from driving.
Yesterday she pleaded not guilty to aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving at Yarmouth Magistrates' Court.
Her case will be sent to Norwich Crown Court for trial later in the year.
Charges of driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance will also be dealt with at crown court.
