A WOMAN has been ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work after she assaulted a teenager at a Great Yarmouth holiday camp.

Melissa Thomson, 23, of Cow Lane, Shariston Common, Wakefield, appeared at Norwich Crown Court for sentencing on January 5, after pleading guilty to threatening behaviour.

The charge related to an offence at Haven Seashore Holiday Camp on August 8 last year. Following an argument, Thomson hit the 14-year-old boy in the head three times and racially abused him. She was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid and pay costs of £60.
