ARMED police arrested a man in north Yarmouth following reports he had shot his partner.Police spokesman Jon Smith said a woman was taken to hospital after sustaining an injury to her nose at around 9pm on January 14 but that it was soon established it was an accident involving an airgun.
ARMED police arrested a man in north Yarmouth following reports he had shot his partner.
Police spokesman Jon Smith said a woman was taken to hospital after sustaining an injury to her nose at around 9pm on January 14 but that it was soon established it was an accident involving an airgun.
He said the armed response unit was always called if fire arms were suspected and that on this occasion they took a “low level” approach.
