A woman was taken to hospital this morning after being tramped on by a horse in Horning.

The East of England Ambulance Services NHS Trust received a call at 10.06am to Hall Lane in the village near Acle.

A rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and response car from the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended.

The woman in her 30s suffered injuries to her lower back.

She was treated at the scene before being taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.

Her injuries are not beleived to be life-threatening.
